So I decided it was a good idea to spend 11 hours at Disneyland the day before school starts.  So even though I won’t get a mom of the year award arriving on my doorstep anytime soon, I must say we greatly enjoyed the time spent as a family.

Hudson finally got to ride California Screamin’ which in his words were, “AWESOME!!”  He was loving life!  I promise he is on the seat next to me.  He’s there…really.

And, we accidentally got boxed in and were forced to watch the parade, which ended up being amazing.  We were right against the gate where everyone starts the parade so everyone in the parade stopped to talk or wave to Annie.  I think it scared her a little bit, but now I never have to wait in another character line again. She saw everyone…every princess, Mickey, Minnie, you name it, she saw it.  This is actually a dream of mine as well since standing in those lines to meet and greet are no where to be seen on my list of things to do.

This was Gracie’s first time at Disney.  I think it was the dream day for her too.  She always wants to be held and I must say she spent almost the entire day being held on all of the rides.  Believe it or not, she was even fine on Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.  Will was such a great dad.  He took Gracie everywhere with him.

We stayed with Joe and Negin for a day while we were in Phoenix!  They were in the middle of the hustle and bustle that is moving in and they still made time for us.  They were so wonderful to us!

Uncle Joe even showed them the way of the S’more.  Melted chocolate and toasty mallows are always the way to a child’s heart.

…literally.  Annie asked me if she thought she looked like Sharpay at one point.  Oh dear, what have we done?  I think that was due to the fact that the kids’ pool was the Wild Cats Pool.

Hudson on the other hand was out for blood??  Can you hear the music?

I loved that we could come and go.  No outside guests meant no lines!  Wahoo!  Older kids might get a little bored after awhile, but it was perfect for my little ones.

Let me just answer your question right now, no, I’m NOT preggers!!

We attempted to be lazy in the river here, but Annie started screaming, “Let me out!!  I hate the river!  Please just let me goooo!”

And this is reasons #1 why we loved the Arizona Grand.  Mommy and Daddy got their own room with a balcony that had a breathtaking view of the golf course!
