10 Inches Thick and Still Nervous

Have you ever wondered what it might feel like to let your children go ice fishing in a lake over 9,000 feet above sea level in the middle of winter?  I never did, but now I know anyway.  Snagging the kids and hopping in the truck, my dad and the rest of us, made our way into the mountains to enjoy a day on the lake.  They said the ice was 10 inches thick, but being the “Nervous Nelly” that I am, I found no comfort!

Clearly, there is some serious drilling commencing and my dialogue is unneeded.
