Circa 1932

So the dryer decided to break.   I thought I would try and salvage it.  A vacuum bag of lint and 8 cups of sand later we at least have a blowing, running dryer.  I’m just thankful my dryer didn’t go up in flames.  Now we just need to fix the heating element.  Until then, my sympathy for mid-century housewives is through the roof.  That’s right, we are rocking the line.

Amazing what we depend on these days, huh? But it’s still kind of nice to not have the added electric bill cost ;). You might end up really liking rockin’ the line :). (I’m not sure how I would feel about it, though… The dryer is just so much EASIER!)
