Interactive Spa, maybe?

I enjoyed?!…my first interactive spa experience. Where else can I go running, slather myself in mud and fill my shoes full of sand for an extensive exfoliation of my toes and feet? In reality, by the end, I felt like my whole body had been exfoliated. Oh and did I mention the organic compounds in the lake we swam through? I'm sure that alone nourished my skin and did wonders. Truly, I feel rejuvenated.

Poor Will about had a coronary with the thought of me actually running a 10K. But hey, 4 months pregnant and I ran almost the whole way. I did force myself to walk a few times since I wasn't actually sure what my body could handle. I consider it a success still. My time was 5 minutes faster than last year and the mud…well, it was mud!

If you hadn't gathered, I got to do my 2nd Mud Run this year on Camp Pendleton. We had sooooo much fun…but I'm sure you can deduce that from all the pictures. Don't mind the hair, mine wasn't haven't a good day. I swear it is me though…far left. A little background on those who haven't done it before, we opted to race with the teams this year.

We did a couple of hills, jumped some walls, crawled through the mud, ran through some rivers, wiggled through some pipes and swam through a lake. After baby #3, I'm hoping to make next year my 3rd.

We actually had 3 teams of 5 all dressed as Wonder Woman. It was pretty awesome. Thanks to all the lovely Wonder Women who kept me company before, during and afterwards. The company was truly wonderful!
