According to Jessica…

The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking. -Mr. Einstein

Our time with Jim and Nancy also found us at the Botanical Gardens and Science Museum.  The kids loved being there.  There was so much to do.

Building block towers was definitely a crowd favorite.

There is nothing like a homemade tornado.  Come to think of it.  I have two of those at my house.  Mine just have arms and legs.

There were more activities than I could count and we loved every one of them.

Being here just made me sad thinking about all of the people in the world who are terrified of math and science or think it is only for smart people.  Science doesn’t bite…at least not most of the time.

What fun. We’ll have to try that one. Maybe it will convince me science doesn’t bite.

What a fun activity! I need to make some jam one of these days. Your new kitchen is cute. We will have to come visit you some time soon. I am hoping to come to California this fall.

For some reason this reminded me of when I visited you in CO and we went to the Museum of Natural History. I can’t believe that was 15 years ago…

  4. Jessica Says:

    @ Lisa, come on down.
@ Hila, I remember that. It was so long ago. I still have all of the pictures! :)

  5. Cyndi Says:

Wow! We haven’t been there since we first moved here and all Emma wanted to do was play upstairs. We are just going to have to go! Thanks for the remind!
