Point Loma
Point Loma was the destination of our most recent romantic getaway…okay so maybe it was a Saturday afternoon date. Either way, we enjoyed our time together. Once again I find myself alone in the photographs, but Will was there too. He was the one behind the camera.
The views are great. I can’t really explain the look on my face, except to say Will caught me off guard. I was feeling a little too touristy for my own good with him snapping pictures. I do appreciate his ability to document our life photographically.
San Diego Bay, Coronado and the San Diego skyline were all within view.
The white statue in the background would be none other than the famous…drum roll please…Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo. Okay, okay, for those of you going, “Juan who?” He was the first European to show up on the West Coast of the US back in 1542. Just a tidbit of knowledge that I knew you were just dying to hear.

Halloween Comes to Disneyland

I guess I’ve been a good girl this year because Will was sweet enough to buy Disneyland passes for the family. I went with my good friend Amber and we made a day of it. Leaving early in the morning, we made it all the way to the villainous fireworks at the end of the day. Spectacular!! Because of Halloween, all of the Disney villains were out walking around and definitely acting the part. I watched one poor dad chase down Jafar, Captain Hook and Snow White’s wicked queen only to have each one of them stalk off.

The streets were decked with grinning jack-o-lanterns of all shapes and sizes. I am posing by myself in the pictures only because all of the kids had crashed at this point. Good thing we had jammies in the car to make the ride home a dream.

Ribbons, banner, autumn leaves…Halloween has definitely come to Disneyland.

The kids were great all day long. We attribute it to the constant snacking and exciting rides.

The Haunted House, Buzz and Pirates were by far my kids favorites. The Haunted House is transformed into the, Nightmare Before Christmas, for the holidays so the “scary” factor was greatly decreased.
All days, even the great ones have to come to an end. We ended where we started, a little more tired, but with 4 happy, cute kids!

Shoe-aholic
I couldn’t help myself. Will left me alone in the mall for 5 minutes while he went in search of a game. I thought I would be safe. I walked past one measly shoe store and wham! The rest is history. In my defense the store had buy one get one half off so I got a steal of a deal. Once again I realize they are a little on the wild side, but I actually have a dress that would match the patterned ones perfectly - if you can imagine that.

Doin’ Whatever a Spider Can
This one is for Annie’s uncles. We aren’t quite sure where it all stemmed from, but we do fully realize that we have the girliest tom-boy. Is that even possible?!

Memoirs of a 4 Year Old
I know this clip is a month or so old, but I had to add it. I try to interview Hudson every so often for memories sake. My mom did a few cassette tapes of me talking with her when I was little and I love listening to them. It’s so crazy to listen to my little 4 year old voice talking or singing. And yes, the first video I have of myself is actually on silent film and can only be played on one of those old school reel movie projectors. I know, I know what you’re thinking – sweet…or maybe, I didn’t realize you were that old! I digress, what a better way to capture their little personality and growth than little interviews. Notice Annie’s cameo at the end. It’s just so…well, Annie! This is why I love my kids.
On a side note: Will is not dead, he is just sleeping!
