Bouncing Balls and Babies

Annie was bouncing a white rubber baseball on the back porch this morning.  Approaching me while craddling the ball we have this conversation…

Annie:  This is my baby Colson. I bought him at school.

Me:  What?  Really?!  How much did he cost?

Annie: I don’t remember.  Hold on just one second, Mom.

Running, and then grabbing the blue soccer ball, Annie hands it to me .

Annie:  Will you hold Daddy for a second?

Me:  Sure, what do I do with him?

Annie:  Give me Daddy, he needs to be in the stroller with Baby Colson.
