All a Flutter
I went with a friend and her girls to the Wild Animal Park this last week to see the butterflies before the exhibit left. We thoroughly enjoyed the park. Honestly, the butterflies weren’t impressive, but hey, to each his own. We did find plenty of other things that got the troops talking.

We couldn’t pass up the chance to see the Lorikeets. Hudson and Annie have finally gotten the hang of feeding them. I think the birds are still just a bit too heavy for Annie to be able to hold.
The petting pen was quite the hit with the kids this time around.
Annie was definitely not a fan of having her hands dirty. Then again, at home she is almost constantly washing her hands.
We did take a bit of a detour this time around to see the Condors and Sumatran Tiger. We were hoping to tire the kids out with a little bit of an off road hike. I actually think it might have had the opposite effect, but the suspensions bridges were fun nonetheless. Hudson was obviously feeling a little daring.
With the arrival of Spring, many new little ones have been born in the park. I think we must have sat and watched the elephants for almost 20 minutes.
Toward the end we found the turtle shells and Hudson just couldn’t resist – still as happy as ever!
Somedays I wonder if this is his favorite part of the park.

So fun! Your pics of Hudson and the turtle shell are darling!! Great colors and fabulous cutie pie smiles from him. Good job mama!
