Candyland
Right before we left for Winnemucca, we took the kids to Candyland. They got to play on a giant gameboard and meet all of the characters…Princess Lolly, Lord Licorice, Queen Frostine and even Grandma Nut. They seemed to have fun. There were also some arts, and crafts they got to do as well as a snow hill they could sled on. It was a nice one time activity.

That guy scares me a little bit!
December 29th, 2008 at 7:45 pmthat looks fun – am I reading too much into it if I think that the guy dressed up as Lord Licorice ? was hitting on you?
December 30th, 2008 at 8:41 amHmm. That guy looks a little shady. Let me guess, did he say, “Hey little boy, do you want some candy?”
December 31st, 2008 at 7:51 amThen you went to Winnemucca to see Nana Nut?:)
December 31st, 2008 at 6:45 pm@Michelle, Will actually deleted a different picture that made him mad, where he said the guy was checking me out. LOL I think he was supposed to be the king of Candyland.
December 31st, 2008 at 11:27 pmI always wonder about how those characters will list this job ona resume…Lord Licorice 2008-2009. Duties included mass production of licorice for all the good little girls and boys of the world. Production goals met year over year, with increase in overall volume. Agreement met with ADA (American Dental Associate) to provide education on “brushing” after each snack. Management of a life size boardgame and hoards of little children.
January 2nd, 2009 at 9:48 amReason for leaving: looking for position with more responsibility and to move forward in a career of candy management and sales.
